Customer Questions

Question:

Does it fit on automatic z32 - Edwin

Answer:

Hi Edwin, these do not contain the automatic transmission cooler, so the only way to run one on an AT car would be if you also added an external transmission cooler.

Question:

Does this help the car run cooler? And if so by how much? thanks - Samuel Angeles

Answer:

Hey Samuel, an upgraded radiator won't necessarily make the car run cooler by default, the actual temperature is controlled by the thermostat. In a system where the car is highly modified and being abused heavily on a track, you can exceed the capacity of the stock cooling system, and that's when an upgraded radiator comes in and helps keep things under control.

Question:

Do I need different mounts for a correct fit on a 1990 z32 na manual ? - Zachary

Answer:

Hi Zachary, this still utilizes the stock mounts.

the hose clip do not fit snd the radiator shroud doesn't fit, it hits the fan. I thought koyo was better.

Ran this radiator for two years no issues better than a Mishi that is for sure. Only thing that needed to be modified was the ac line needed to be unbracketed. Solid radiator would recommend.

Description

Koyorad is proud to introduce a high-performance all-aluminum radiator for the Naturally Aspirated 90-96 300ZX with 3.0L engine with manual transmissions. This new application features Koyorad's 36mm high density Hyper core. This core was selected to increase the thickness of the stock radiator to boost the 300ZX’s heat capacity and endurance which is especially helpful during track conditions. In addition, the all-aluminum construction replaces the weak plastic tanks found on the stock unit. Koyorad has engineered this radiator with precision, directly replacing the stock OEM radiator, maintaining provisions for the factory fans and accepting OEM hoses for a quick and simple installation. Koyorad’s advanced engineering and design methods, impeccable welds, experienced furnace brazing, and triple pressure testing for quality has earned their excellent reputation in performance cooling worldwide.

Features:

  • All aluminum construction
  • High Density fully brazed Hyper Core
